Our complicated relationship with cats by The Guardian.

The text mentions a 2010 study that concluded that people who identify as people of cats tend to stress more, be more open to a variety of experiences, but show poorer self-discipline, cooperativeness and assertiveness. Another study in 2010 said that people with more education cats that people who have dogs. As the cats require less attention and can better adapt to the life of its owner.


It is mentioned that the owners of the cats categorizes with different personality types just as with other beings human.


Another 2007 study 
applied the "Attachment Theory"  to the relationship between cats and their owners. The study found that when cats were in the company of their owners, tended to show more relaxed attachment behaviours such as wandering around, exploring and playing in their environment. When they were placed with a stranger instead, the cats meowed less, and spent more time waiting by the door. This shows cats are not as distant as many people think.


Finally, the article mentions a parasite called "Toxoplasma gondii" that have cats in their feces and damaging in many ways to humans, for example, studies show that people with schizophrenia have higher numbers of these parasites in your system, too, is related with changes in encouragement state of people.

  1. wow! I didn´t know that cats cause too much scientific interest ajaja. Personally I don´t believe too much in this kind of studies, because in my opinion the most important in the investigation is the subjectivity, and I don´t believe that cats have spoken with the scientific ajaa. Regards!
